2016 PLAYER EVALUATION SCHEDULE
 

Our Evaluations are this Saturday, March 5th at the North Pocono Middle School Gym. Please note the times and divisions. We will have a makeup on Sunday, March 6th same location between 11-1.

Please join us in welcoming Mark Seidita and Sean Rooney to the Boad of Directors. Mark has taken the position of Concession Coordinator and Sean has taken the position of Field Coordinator. Both will be forming committees to help tackle these important positions for our league. Please consider joining a committee and helping us have a great season! Howdy Nation!
 
A reminder that our next public meeting will be held next Wednesday, 2/24, at 7:00pm at the North Pocono Library. Come on out and be part of the NPDLL family as we continue our march toward the 2016 season.
 
Following the meeting, the board will be holding executive session to discuss and vote on managers for the upcoming season. Anyone looking to have their name on the ballot as a head coach needs to have their Little League Volunteer form as well as their PA Clearances turned in before the meeting. Forms can be submitted to us at our email address (dandylion@northpoconobaseball.com).
 
We are also looking to create and fill two new positions on the board for Field Coordinator and Concession Coordinator. Both of the individuals would be responsible for creating and chairing committees to handle the duties required for field maintenance and for running our concession stands. If anyone is interested in either position, please reach out to us at our email address (dandylion@northpoconobaseball.com). Please consider joining our board and help make our league the greatest in the area!!

Final Registration

A reminder that our final in-person registration will be held this Saturday (2/13) from 9-2 at both MEC and NPI. Registrations received after this Saturday will be subject to a $25 late fee.
 
Volunteers are needed to help work the registration. If you are able to help, please reach out to Shawn McMillen to be added to the schedule (mcmillen.shawn@gmail.com).

Volunteers are needed to help work registration the next two Saturdays. Specifically for this week we need help from 11-2. If you are able to help, please reach out to Shawn McMillen to be added to the schedule (mcmillen.shawn@gmail.com).
 
A reminder -- Anyone wishing to be considered for a team manager position who hasn't already completed a volunteer form and the PA Background Check (link available on the website) should do so as soon as possible. Forms can be turned in at registration or emailed to us via the Contact page on our website. Managers need to be in place prior to tryouts in order to participate in player evaluations.
 
We are pleased to announce that we will be offering an Intermediate (50/70) division this year. This division is for players 11 to 13 years old. It is intended to be a transitional program from majors to junior/senior, utilizing a 50 foot pitching distance and 70 foot base paths. Additional information around timings, schedules, etc. to be communicated shortly.
