The North Pocono Dandy Lion Little League offers a fun and educational baseball and softball experience for players from age 4 to 18 years old. Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, our goal is to assist our 400+ players in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being.
We will be hosting another field cleanup/prep of the Aston Complex on Sunday April 17th from 3 - 6.
We will be focused on the small field from 3-4:30 an then switch over to our new multipurpose field from 4:30-6:00.

Hi all-
We had a meeting with the District this week and things will begin to ramp up shortly for Junior, Senior, and Big League divisions.
Based on registrations it looks like we have enough players for TWO junior division teams. Games are to start on 5/21 with a 16 game schedule running through 7/2. At this point, the plan is to have games on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Anyone interested in managing a team, please contact us (dandylion@northpoconobaseball.com) as soon as possible.
As we continue our preparation, our Field Committee has scheduled a second work day for 4/10 from 12-3 at Aston Field.
We are always on the lookout for volunteers (new and old) to help out. Come take part as we lay the foundation for our greatest season yet!!

Thanks to the hard work of board member Chris Evans, NPDLL has been able to secure time at Pro Staff Baseball, an indoor training facility which has a large turf area for fielding, 3 pitching cages with clay mounds, and 3 batting cages.

It won't be long now until we are in full swing with the sights, sounds, and smells of another NPDLL season. As we continue our preparation, our Field Committee has scheduled a field work day for 3/26 from 9-11 at Aston Field. Battings cages will be set up, items taken out of storage, painting, and other activities are on the agenda.
Our Concession Committee will also be joining in the fun with a cleanup of the stand at Aston from 9-11 as well.

We are only one month away from our pre-season Parents Night Out and things are moving along at a feverish pace. Our Fundraising Committee is doing a fantastic job getting everything ready for a great night!!
To help make this event a huge success, we would like to ask everyone in our NPDLL Family to donate a gift basket, gift certificate, etc. for our raffle. These baskets are an important piece to the overall success of the evening so the more we can offer the better.
