The North Pocono Dandy Lion Little League offers a fun and educational baseball and softball experience for players from age 4 to 18 years old. Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, our goal is to assist our 400+ players in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being.

Board meetings for North Pocono Dandy Lion Little League have been changed from the third Wednesday of the month to the first Wednesday of the month.
The next board meeting and the first one for the 2012-2013 board will be held Wednesday October 3, 2012 at 7 pm in the community room of the Penn Security Bank in Moscow.
Both 11-12 fall ball games scheduled for tonight Wed. Sept 5, 2012 have been cancelled due to wet field conditions. NP 1 @ East Scranton and West Scranton @ NP 2.
Our 9/10 Fall ball players will have a practice this Sunday Sept. 2 at 4 pm at Aston. Our games begin on Tuesday Sept. 4. Both teams will be playing in Dunmore. The schedule has changed a bit so please take a look at the changes. You will be getting an email on what team you are on. However, since both teams don't play the same days we may need some players to play on the other team from time to time.

Our new board will be elected at our next meeting on Wed. Sept. 19, 2012 at 7 pm in the community room of the Penn Security Bank in Moscow. You must have attended three board meeting during the past year to vote and be on the ballot. If you would like to be on the ballot and you are eligible - please contact Steve Kravitz @ sjkravitzpac@aol.com one week prior to the 19th.
Fall Ball for junior league baseball - age 13 and up will have signups on Tuesday Aug. 21, 2012 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the middle school field. This is run by the scholatic league not NPDLL.
The North Pocono Dandy Lion Little League's August Board Meeting will be held tonight August 15, 2012 in the community room of the Penn Security Bank in Moscow at 7 pm.
Our end of the season carnival/home run derby and awards ceremony for our league champs and graduates will be held this Sunday August 19 at 1 pm at Aston Field. The league will provide drinks, hot dogs, and sides for all players. Mike May has graciously donated hamburgers, corn on the cob and his large grill for the event. We ask anyone attending to bring their favorite covered dish or dessert to share.
Since our league does not schedule the fall ball games, we kind of have to work around others' schedules. The 11-12 baseball season is set to begin around August 20, so we need to know who is going to play by this weekend. I also request all that are interested in the junior, 9-10 and the coach pitch division to also let me know if your child is going to play this fall. At this point, there is not enough interest or volunteers for any division of softball or t-ball.
