All-Star Update - Monday July 2, 2012

Moving on - Great Job by our all-star teams over the weekend - the 11/12 Baseball all-stars won their first game of double elimination 11-5 over Abington American @ Abington and our 9/10 baseball all-stars won their first game of double elimination with a 17-12 win over Abington National.

Our Junior baseball all-stars won their second game on Sat - 13-2 over Dunmore. They are back in action today at 5:30 at Battaglia Field in W. Scranton against Christy.

NPDLL chosen to host Section 5 11/12 softball tournament

North Pocono Dandy Lion Little has been choosen as the host of the 11-12 Section 5 softball tournament. Our team won the District 17 title last night 8-7 over Old Forge.

 

Here is the schedule for the Softball 11-12 Sectionals.

NP 11-12 Softball wins District Title

Congrats to the 11/12 All Stars Players, Coaches and Families, the 11/12 All Stars Beat Old Forge in Old Forge 8-7 in a full game, to win the District17 Little League Softball tournament and advance to the Section 5 tournament. Great Job
Friday night the 9/10 All Stars play Old Forge in Old Forge at Miles park at 6:00, please come out and support the team, Good Luck 9/10 All Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!

Against Old Forge at Miles park Thursday 5:30 Start, Come out and support
the team!! directions, from 81 South, take Davis St to Main Ave in Taylor, Make
left at light after bridge onto Main Ave toward Old Forge, at CBS in Old Forge
make a left onto Moo sic Rd., make Right on Miles St, park in lot across from

11-12 Baseball All-Stars win over West Scranton

Our 11-12 baseball All-Stars beat West Scranton last night 7-0 behind the shutout pitching of David Haines. Kyle Knott, Patrick Kravitz, and Cory Wall all homered in the second inning as NP pulled away from West Scranton at a game played at Aston field. Solid defense was on display for North Pocono highlighted by a great catch in center field by Kyle Knott. The 11-12 baseball All-Stars travel to Christy Mathewson tomorrow to play Christy in their last pool round matchup.
